Pure Circle: When Skincare Meets Color Cosmetics

A new launch from NELE Kosmetik combines mascara and active lash serum in a single application — and brings them to market in a fully recyclable mono-material pack that already meets the upcoming EU PPWR.

The lines between skincare and color cosmetics keep blurring — and consumers increasingly expect both performance and care from a single product. With the Pure Circle: Exosomic Lash Hybrid, NELE Kosmetik and Corpack are answering that demand. The product will celebrate its premiere at CosmeticBusiness 2026 in Munich (10–11 June).

One application. Two functions.

NELE Kosmetik's formulation merges a mascara with an active lash serum in a single step. High-dose exosomes and biomimetic liposomes deliver active ingredients directly to the hair follicle, supporting cell vitality and lash structure, while keratin supports elasticity and resilience of hair and skin. The product is vegan and positioned in the clean-beauty segment.

“The challenge was bringing a highly active ingredient system together with the demands of a premium mascara,” says Miriam Hempel, NELE Kosmetik. The result, she explains, came down to precise alignment of every single component.

A pack designed for the regulation of tomorrow

For Corpack, the focus was clear: deliver a pack that lives up to the formulation — and to the circular-economy standards already on the horizon. The answer is a monomaterial polypropylene (PP) pack, fully recyclable and aligned with the requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which takes effect on 12 August 2026.

By avoiding mixed-material constructions, the design simplifies the recycling stream and gives brand owners early certainty in a fast-moving regulatory landscape.

Why collaboration works

A hybrid product like Pure Circle only succeeds when formulation, brush geometry, wiper and packaging are tuned to one another. The collaboration between NELE Kosmetik and Corpack reflects exactly that: precise alignment across every component, rather than parts developed in isolation.

For us, this is what packaging partnership should look like — not a pack added on top of a finished formula, but a system where every detail, from the active ingredient to the wiper edge, contributes to the consumer experience.

Three industry trends in one product

  • Hybridization — combining decorative cosmetics and skincare in a single step
  • Biomimetics — exosomes and liposomes as targeted delivery vehicles
  • Circular design — recyclable monomaterial solutions, regulation-ready
