Pure Circle: When Skincare Meets Color Cosmetics

A new co-development with NELE Kosmetik brings serum and mascara together in a single application — wrapped in a fully recyclable monomaterial pack that already meets the upcoming EU PPWR.
The lines between skincare and color cosmetics keep blurring — and consumers increasingly expect both performance and care from a single product. With the Pure Circle: Exosomic Lash Hybrid, NELE Kosmetik and Corpack are answering that demand. Co-developed in Bavaria and ready for market, the product will celebrate its world premiere at CosmeticBusiness 2026 in Munich (10–11 June).
One application. Two functions.
Pure Circle merges a high-performance mascara with an active lash serum — applied in a single step. The formula combines high-dose exosomes (Exo FDS) and biomimetic liposomes (HDS) to deliver active ingredients directly to the hair follicle, supporting cell vitality and lash structure. A liposomal keratin technology adds elasticity and resilience, while an ultra-water-resistant pullulan film matrix delivers clump-free layering, intense pigmentation and instant volume.
With a Natural Origin Index of 99.23 % and a vegan formulation, Pure Circle sits firmly in the clean-beauty segment — without compromising the performance expected from a premium mascara.
A pack designed for the regulation of tomorrow
For Corpack, the brief was clear: deliver a pack that lives up to the formulation — and to the circular-economy standards already on the horizon. The answer is a monomaterial polypropylene (PP) pack, fully recyclable and aligned with the requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which takes effect on 12 August 2026.
By eliminating mixed-material constructions, the design simplifies the recycling stream and gives brand owners early certainty in a fast-moving regulatory landscape.
Why co-development works
A hybrid product like Pure Circle only succeeds when formulation, brush geometry, wiper and packaging are tuned to one another — there is no room for components developed in isolation. The geographic proximity of NELE Kosmetik (Igensdorf, Bavaria) and Corpack (Munich) shortened decision loops and kept the development cycle tight.
For us, this is exactly what packaging partnership should look like: not a pack added on top of a finished formula, but a system designed in parallel — where every detail, from the active ingredient to the wiper edge, contributes to the consumer experience.
Three industry trends in one product
- Hybridization — combining decorative cosmetics and skincare in a single step
- Biomimetics — exosomes and liposomes as targeted delivery vehicles
- Circular design — recyclable monomaterial solutions, regulation-ready
